People First, Strategy Second
I'm reading Jack Welch's book and this is one of his 'keys to his success'. He says the people are more important than the strategy. A good Strategy without the right people leads to nice presentations but no results.
I'm not sure I agree 100% and I'm not saying the people that we have in leadership at BBC should drive the strategy. But when we start talking about ministries we must at least consider who we have because the reality is that is who we have at least in the short term.
